۱. سازمان مسئول باید تا حدی که خسارت با اعاده وضع یا غرامت جبران نمی‌شود، برای خسارت واردشده ترضیه فراهم کند.
۲. ترضیه می‌تواند شامل اذعان به نقض، ابراز تأسف، عذرخواهی رسمی یا شیوه مناسب دیگری باشد.
۳. ترضیه نباید نامتناسب با خسارت یا تحقیرآمیز برای سازمان مسئول باشد.
۱. The international organization responsible for an internationally wrongful act is under an obligation to give satisfaction for the injury caused by that act insofar as it cannot be made good by restitution or compensation.
۲. Satisfaction may consist in an acknowledgement of the breach, an expression of regret, a formal apology or another appropriate modality.
۳. Satisfaction shall not be out of proportion to the injury and may not take a form humiliating to the responsible international organization.
