۱. دیوان بینالمللی دادگستری به موجب آئیننامه طرف انجام وظایف و اختیارات و مخصوصاً آیین دادرسی خود را معین مینماید.
۲. آییننامه دیوان مزبور میتواند وجود معاونینی را پیشبینی نماید که در خود دیوان یا در شعبههای آن بدون داشتن حق رای حضور به هم رسانند.

۲. The Rules of the Court may provide for assessors to sit with the Court or with any of its chambers, without the right to vote.
