دیوان میتواند اصلاحاتی را که به تشخیص او لازم است در این اساسنامه به عمل آید به وسیله ابلاغ کتبی دبیر کل سازمان ملل متحد پیشنهاد نماید تا طبق مقررات ماده ۶۹ مورد رسیدگی واقع شود.

The Court shall have power to propose such amendments to the present Statute as it may deem necessary, through written communications to the Secretary-General, for consideration in conformity with the provisions of Article ۶۹.
