۱. دولت‌ها و سازمان‌های بین‌المللی باید برای پایان دادن به هر نقض جدی موضوع ماده ۴۱ از راه‌های قانونی همکاری کنند.
۲. هیچ دولت یا سازمانی نباید وضعیت ایجادشده در نتیجه نقض جدی را قانونی بشناسد یا برای حفظ آن مساعدت کند.
۳. این ماده به سایر آثار مقرر در این بخش یا آثار دیگری که نقض طبق حقوق بین‌الملل ممکن است داشته باشد لطمه نمی‌زند.
۱. States and international organizations shall cooperate to bring to an end through lawful means any serious breach within the meaning of article ۴۱.
۲. No State or international organization shall recognize as lawful a situation created by a serious breach within the meaning of article ۴۱, nor render aid or assistance in maintaining that situation.
۳. This article is without prejudice to the other consequences referred to in this Part and to such further consequences that a breach to which this Chapter applies may entail under international law.
