هر یک از دولتها باید حقالزحمه نماینده خود را پرداخت کرده و هزینه مناسب برای وکیل و داورِ منصوبِ خود، و همچنین هزینههای مربوط به آمادهسازی و ارائه پروندهاش به دیوان را تأمین نماید.
کلیهی هزینههای دیگرِ مرتبط با داوری، باید به صورت مساوی توسط هر دو دولت پرداخت شود.
Each Government shall pay its own agent and provide for the proper remuneration of the counsel employed by it and of the arbitrator appointed by it, and for the expense of preparing and submitting its case to the tribunal. All other expenses connected with the arbitration shall be defrayed by the two Governments in equal moieties. Article IX.
