نمایندگان یا سایر کارگزاران رسمی ایالات متحده و بریتانیای کبیر در برلین، به ترتیب، به عنوان نمایندگان دولتهای متبوع خود جهت پیگیری دعاویشان نزد داور محسوب خواهند شد؛ از داور درخواست خواهد شد که تمامی مکاتبات و ابلاغیههای خود را خطاب به این نمایندگان یا کارگزاران رسمی ارسال نماید، چرا که آنان به طور کلی نمایندگی دولتهای خود را در کلیه امور مربوط به داوری بر عهده خواهند داشت.
The representatives or other public agents of the United States and of Great Britain at Berlin, respectively, shall be considered as the agents of their respective governments to conduct their cases before the arbitrator, who shall be requested to address all his communications, and give all his notices to such representatives or other public agents, who shall represent their respective governments, generally, in all matters connected with the arbitration. Article XXXIX.
