(۱) هر شخصی که از سوی یک عضو به عنوان نماینده مقیم اصلی آن عضو نزد سازمان ملل متحد، یا به عنوان نماینده مقیم با رتبه سفیر یا وزیر مختار، تعیین شده باشد؛
(۲) اعضای مقیم کارکنان آنان که میان دبیرکل، دولت ایالات متحده و دولت عضو مربوط درباره آنان توافق شود؛
(
۳) هر شخصی که از سوی عضو یک سازمان تخصصیِ تعریفشده در بند ۲
ماده ۵۷ منشور، به عنوان نماینده دائم اصلی آن عضو با رتبه سفیر یا وزیر مختار در مقر آن سازمان در ایالات متحده تعیین شده باشد؛ و
(۴) سایر نمایندگان مقیم اصلی اعضای یک سازمان تخصصی و اعضای مقیم کارکنان نمایندگان سازمان تخصصی که میان عالیترین مقام اجرایی سازمان تخصصی، دولت ایالات متحده و دولت عضو مربوط درباره آنان توافق شود، خواه در داخل منطقه مقر سکونت داشته باشند خواه خارج از آن، در قلمرو ایالات متحده از همان مزایا و مصونیتها، مشروط به شرایط و تعهدات متقابل، برخوردار خواهند بود که ایالات متحده برای نمایندگان دیپلماتیک مورد اعتماد خود مقرر میکند. در مورد اعضایی که دولتهایشان از سوی ایالات متحده به رسمیت شناخته نشدهاند، این مزایا و مصونیتها فقط در منطقه مقر، در محل اقامت و دفاتر آنان خارج از منطقه، هنگام رفتوآمد میان منطقه و آن محلها و در سفر رسمی به کشورهای خارجی یا از آنها، به چنین نمایندگان یا اشخاصی از کارکنان آنان اعطا میشود.
(۱) Every person designated by a Member as the principal resident representative to the United Nations of such Member or as a resident representative with the rank of ambassador or minister plenipotentiary,
(۲) such resident members of their staffs as may be agreed upon between the Secretary-General, the Government of the United States and the Government of the Member concerned;
(۳) every person designated by a member of a specialized agency, as defined in Article ۵۷, paragraph ۲ of the Charter, as its principal permanent representative, with the rank of ambassador or minister plenipotentiary at the headquarters of such agency in the United States, and
(۴) such other principal resident representatives of members of a specialized agency and such resident members of the staffs of representatives of a specialized agency as may be agreed upon between the principal executive officer of the specialized agency, the Government of the United States and the Government of the Member concerned, shall, whether residing inside or outside the headquarters district, be entitled in the territory of the United States to the same privileges and immunities, subject to corresponding conditions and obligations, as it accords to diplomatic envoys accredited to it. In the case of Members whose governments are not recognized by the United States, such privileges and immunities need be extended to such representatives, or persons on the staffs of such representatives, only within the headquarters district, at their residences and offices outside the district, in transit between the district and such residences and offices, and in transit on official business to or from foreign countries.
